Solar Junction is a bright, engaging playscape designed to celebrate the sun and provide an inclusive space for everyone. It features a vibrant orange theme, three towering pillars of varying heights, and a grassy area for kids to play freely. By blending bold design with functionality, Solar Junction reimagines outdoor spaces as engaging and interactive experiences that honor the sun's energy and foster togetherness. I created this experience to bring together people of different backgrounds and capabilities to enjoy being at the park together.
This installation features three pillars reaching heights of 22.5 feet, 18 feet, and 10.5 feet, along with a spacious grassy area for everyone to enjoy. Benches are thoughtfully positioned to provide visitors with a place to relax and connect, fostering a community-friendly atmosphere. Additionally, five cylindrical seating areas are included, offering people of all ages a comfortable spot to rest.
