During my time in high school, I had the opportunity to be a part of the Upward Bound program. I received the opportunity to design summer program shirts for the program, and have been designing since. This project allowed me to combine creativity with purpose, as the shirts would serve as a unifying element for program participants and a lasting memory of their summer experiences.
